I try to live by the saying that, “the only way through it… Is through it.”
Don’t you find that when life wants to teach us something, it presents it with a challenge or task, and sometimes it may seem difficult or not something you want to face head-on?
So we try to avoid it, dodge it, sidestep it or retreat from it altogether. But then only to find down the line when you open another door, you find that you are banging your head against the same wall again. The problem is we’ll keep making the same mistakes over and over unless we put our helmet on and charge through it head on to see what happens when we come out the other side.
The great thing is, the more you do this, the more you realise it’s a win-win because you’re either successful or you get through with a lot of great lessons learnt.
The constant is that you are always moving forward, always building, always progressing, and that’s a very good thing.
Keep that in mind for the week ahead, it may turn out to be very useful and valuable.
Just another one of the great lessons in life that sailing life has taught me.
I hope you’ve had the most amazing weekend.
Have an awesome week!
Much love! 😎🙌🏻⛵️
