A boat I’ve been working on recently, finally back in the water this morning and looking like an absolute little stunner…. the lovely little “Jona”, a little Lagoon 380 catamaran.
Fully polished top to bottom, a new trampoline net, and a few other bits done by myself, as well as new vinyl decals, solar panel rack, barbecue rack and a new coat of antifouling underneath.
There’s a funny little story behind myself and this boat which goes to show just what a small world it is.
Over the summer last year while I was anchored in Port Soller, Mallorca, this boat pulled up and anchored next to me quite a few times over the season.
She was then called “Aisha” and she was a lease charter boat for a charter company that leases out their boats to people for weeks at a time.
Little did I know then that I’d actually be working on that boat a few months later when I got back to Cartagena.
She’s since been bought by a family who’s now renamed her and she’s going to now be doing day charters out of Santa Ponca, Mallorca over the season, and she’s looking ten times better than she did before, make that twenty times better!
Always nice to see the fruits of a lot of hard work flourish and blossom gloriously on the water in the sunshine.
Awesome work guys! All the best!
