What an incredibly interesting couple of days it’s been…And would you believe it, its got nothing to do with sailing… or boats for that matter…
Not only have I actually finally gone beyond 5 miles inland from the Spanish coast (weirdly enough, anywhere I’ve ever been in Spain, I’ve always been close to the sea) but I would have never in a million years guessed last week what I would find myself involved in doing from this week…
I’m currently giving a friend a hand for a couple of days a week on a pretty interesting project for his business… You’ll never guess what it is…
Developing, manufacturing and building, a full-scale prototype, fully functional, working replica of a fighter jet cockpit to be used in professional flight simulation and pilot training… WTF! 😳 I know right… 😂 What do I know about building high-end high tech flight simulators?
Well not much to be honest, but I sure am learning a tremendous amount as we go…
And to top it off, this is where I’m staying a couple of days each week whilst working on the project… Up in the Spanish hills of the Sierra Espuna…Far from the sea but definitely not a shabby view though! As you can see, the sunsets are insane up here…
Pretty schweet hey!
Good times!
