When you’ve been stuck below deck in a tiny little 3×4 metre space in total solitary confinement in almost complete silence all day, with consistent torrential rain and howling winds. With the boat constantly rocking and swaying from side to side with a jerk as the lines tighten with each sway.
Where slowly but surely your marbles have begun to go on a little walkabout becoming lost in the dark unknown nether regions at the bottom of the bilge, under the floorboards, never to be found again…
However! Surprisingly on your travels pacing around said space, you make a remarkable discovery, a 2015 bottle of red, hiding in a little dark corner behind a few other relics of previous half-finished boozy endeavours…
What a win! 🙌
This bottle may have survived a beach landing… but I can tell you now… it’s not going to survive tonight! 😂
