I hope you’re having an awesome Sunday…
For those who don’t know what it’s like to live on a boat, the work never stops…
So there’s no rest for the wicked down here in the beautiful clear turquoise bay of Cala Tuent on the northwest coast of Mallorca…
Whilst other people enjoy a relaxing time on the beach and others on their weekend/Sunday boats, I’ve been working for most of the day below the surface, scrubbing away at Rose Rambler’s underbelly to try to remove a lot of the thriving bio-universe of a reef that has been cultivating underneath her for quite some time.
It’s a pretty tough job but I’ve been getting as much as I can get done with a mask and snorkel before I go down with the dive tank tomorrow morning, as I only have one tank of air and given how strenuous and exhausting it gets trying to get that stubborn growth off, that tank isn’t going to last very long.
On the bright side, it’s been a good way to stay cool in this Mallorcan heat today!
The fishies are loving it too as it creates good snacks for them.
