The great thing about sailing around on a sailboat is that you get to discover and experience some of the most extraordinary places that this beautiful world has to offer. And not only do you get to meet some incredible people along the way, but you also get to meet some amazing creatures with the most beautiful personalities. Such as my lovely little four-legged friend Bongo.
This is Bongo, he lives in Port Soller on the island of Mallorca, and to tell you the truth, he’s a bit of a celebrity amongst everyone who lives and visits Port Soller, literally, everyone knows Bongo.
He’s quite a fascinating little guy, with the friendliest, most happy go lucky and the most loving of personalities, he’s just one of those dogs that you will simply never forget EVER!
He’s owned by my friend Rodrigo who runs Soller SUP, the stand-up paddleboard rental business on the beach in Port Soller, and where there’s water, a boat or a SUP, that’s where you will find Bongo.
He loves being on boats and SUPs, it’s like it’s all he lives for, the biggest beach bum you’ll ever meet in your life for sure. Believe it or not, he even has his own clothing brand, just take a good closer look at my T-Shirt! 😂
He also has his very own Instagram account: @bongosuping so do yourself a favour and check him out, and the next time you’re in Port Soller, Mallorca, be sure to look out for him, trust me, it won’t take you long to spot him. I absolutely cannot wait to see the little bugger again sometime in the future, what a little champ! So much love for him it’s ridiculous, gosh I miss that dog!
By the way, any idea what type of breed he is? I was told before but seem to have forgotten, unfortunately…
